Over 200 volunteers from the congregation and the community worked together and packed 202 cartons of Mac & Cheese, Tomato Basil Pasta, Minestrone soup, and Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal; or 43,698 servings of food for the hungry and food insecure. The food has been distributed to food pantries/ lockers in Preston, Ledyard, Groton, Norwich, East Lyme and Three Rivers College. 20 % of the cartons (40) were reserved for hurricane aid and are on their way. Thank you to all of the volunteers and donors who made this whole event successful.
